Macy's: Q4 adjusted EPS down 62%

(CercleFinance.com) - Macy's has reported Q4 adjusted EPS of 80 cents compared to $2.
12 a year ago, on revenues of 6.78 billion dollars, down 18.7%.

On a comparable basis, the department store chain saw its sales decline by 17%, weighed on by challenges stemming from the Covid-19 pandemic... which also contributed to a 21% increase in online sales.

For FY 2021, Macy's expects adjusted EPS of between 40 to 90 cents and sales of 19.75 to 20.75 billion dollars, compared with a loss of 2.21 dollars per share and revenues of 17.35 billion dollars respectively for the past year.
