Lockheed Martin: $311m contract with US Army
(CercleFinance.com) - The US Army has awarded the Javelin Joint Venture a contract for the production of Javelin missiles and associated equipment and services worth a total of 311 million dollars.
The contract includes the procurement of Javelin systems and production support for the US Army and international customers Lithuania and Jordan.
The contract also includes more than 1,800 Javelins to replenish ammunition sent to Ukraine.
The Javelin is developed and produced by the Javelin Joint Venture (JJV) between Raytheon Missiles & Defense in Tucson and Lockheed Martin.
