Eli Lilly: China approves new imuno-oncology treatment
(CercleFinance.com) - Eli Lilly and the Chinese biotech firm Innovent Biologics have won approval for their co-developed monoclonal antibody Tyvyt, which kills cancer cells, the companies said on Thursday.
Lilly and Innovent said the injection has been granted approval for market authorization by the National Medical Products Administration of China (NMPA) for the treatment of patients with classical Hodgkin's lymphoma.
The approval addresses patients who have relapsed or have refractory forms of the disease after two or more courses of systemic chemotherapy, they said.
