2 million dollars, or 1.06 dollar per diluted share, compared with respectively 235.8 million dollars and 1.01 dollar per diluted share a year ago.
As a result, the housing construction specialist exceeded the consensus, which expected EPS of one dollar.
Group revenues were up 15% at 3.3 billion dollars, while deliveries rose 12% y-o-y to 7,598 homes.
Orders were also upbeat, rising 8% to 7,610 homes.
