Estée Lauder: Q4 exceeds estimates
(CercleFinance.com) - Estée Lauder has reported Q4 2017-18 earnings that are down 19% at 186 million dollars, or 49 cents per share.
However, adjusted EPS increased by 20% to 61 cents, beating the consensus by five cents.
The perfume and cosmetics group saw its revenues increase 14% to 3.3 billion dollars (+12% excluding FX factors), with growth at most brands, as well as in all geographical areas and product categories.
For FY 2018-19, Estée Lauder expects adjusted EPS of between 4.62 dollars and 4.71 dollars (after 4.51 dollars in FY 2017-18), with sales growth of between 4% and 5% (after 16% in 2017-18).
