Estée Lauder: beats consensus in Q3
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday before Wall Street opens Estée Lauder reported Q3 net profit of 372 million dollars, or 99 cents per share, against 80 cents per share action a year earlier.
Adjusted EPS of the US cosmetics specialist reached 1.17 dollar, 10 cents above the consensus.
Revenues increased strongly, up from 2.86 billion dollars to 3.37 billion dollars (+18% y-o-y), while the consensus was expecting a little under 3.25 billion dollars.
Regarding its outlook, Estée Lauder expects adjusted EPS of between 4.38 dollars and 4.42 dollars at end-2018. Meanwhile, revenues are expected to rise by between 15% and 16%.
