Kraft Heinz: Q3 below estimates
(CercleFinance.com) - Kraft Heinz has published Q3 net profit that has fallen by one third to 630 million dollars, or 51 cents per share, although in adjusted terms, EPS was down just 6% at 78 cents, which was still three cents below the consensus.
The agri-food group's adjusted EBITDA fell 14.4% to 1.62 billion dollars, for revenues that were up 1.6% at 6.38 billion dollars, with organic sales growth reaching 2.6%.
Group CEO Bernardo Hees recognised that although a number of extraordinary factors weighed on group profit over the quarter, he remains confident in the group's capacity to achieve profitable growth in the future.
