Kimberly-Clark: lowers its annual EPS forecast

(CercleFinance.com) - On the occasion of the publication of its quarterly results, hygiene product manufacturer Kimberly-Clark lowers its annual EPS forecast, now anticipating between 6.
60 and 6.80 dollars compared to 6.90 to 7.20 dollars previously.

The reasons it gives for this caution are “heightened inflation in raw materials and worsening exchange-rate prospects, partly compensated by increased cost savings and lower general costs”.

For the past quarter, the Dallas-based group saw its adjusted EPS increase by 7% to 1.59 dollars, thereby beating consensus by two cents, for a 1% increase in revenue to 4.6 billion, but remaining stable in organic terms.
