Kimberly Clark: in line with consensus for the 2nd quarter.

(CercleFinance.com) - Published this Tuesday before Wall Street opening, Kimberly-Clark's accounts for the 2nd quarter of the financial year came out pretty much exactly as anticipated by analysts.

Analysts had predicted the 7-cent drop in earnings per share (EPS) year-on-year to 1.49 dollars. Equally, a 1% sales erosion for the hygiene product specialist to 4.6 billion dollars was expected by consensus.

Kimberly-Clark expects modest growth in its annual sales figures. EPS in 2017 should for its part end up at the lower end of the range of between 6.2 and 6.35 dollars.
