Kellogg: recalls breakfast cereal over salmonella risk
(CercleFinance.com) - Kellogg is recalling packages of Honey Smacks breakfast cereal due to possible salmonella contamination, the company said on Friday.
The group said it launched an investigation with a third-party manufacturer which produces the product after being contacted by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) regarding reported illnesses.
No other products are affected by this recall, Kellogg said.
