(CercleFinance.com) - IBM said on Wednesday that it has expanded its agreement with Daimler, with the German carmaker implementing the IT company's smart cloud and migrating its after-sales portal to IBM's public cloud.
Daimler's new technical platform - which supports workshop processes in the retail sector - will help the auto giant introduce new offerings, IBM said in a statement.
At the same time, its data will be transferred and stored in IBM's public cloud.
