Intel: names new independent director to board
(CercleFinance.com) - Intel on Thursday appointed entrepreneur and investor Jim Goetz to its board of directors, marking a sixth addition of an independent director to its board since 2016.
Goetz, 54, has served as a partner of venture capital firm Sequoia Capital since 2004.
Prior to joining Sequoia, he co-founded health and social care software maker VitalSigns Software.
Intel said the executive has a strong track record helping technology companies capitalize on disruptive innovation.
