Intel: Israeli regulator approves acquisition of Mobileye.
(CercleFinance.com) - Intel said on Thursday that Israel's competition regulator has approved the US giant chipmaker's proposed acquisition of Mobileye.
The approval from the Israeli antitrust general director satisfies a condition to the offer, but completion remains subject to additional conditions, including the receipt of at least 95 per cent of Mobileye's outstanding shares.
Mobileye, which designs computer chips for driving systems, was launched in Israel in 1999.
