Honeywell: signs deal to sell KE2 Therm controllers
(CercleFinance.com) - Honeywell said on Monday that it has obtained the selling rights for KE2 Therm's smart controllers for the refrigeration industry - in particular for the grocery market.
According to the US Department of Energy, grocery stores are responsible for approximately 9% of the total energy consumed by commercial buildings in the US, of which over 50% comes from refrigeration.
With this agreement, KE2 Therm will also sell Honeywell's technologies, such as building controls systems, electrical meters, and refrigerant leak detection sensors.
