HP Enterprise: Q4 above expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) unveiled adjusted EPS that is up 55% at 45 cents for Q4 2017-18, hence exceeding the consensus by three cents.


The IT services group - which results from the Hewlett Packard spin-off in 2015 - saw its adjusted operating margin increase by 1.9 point to 10.1%, for sales growth of 3.7% to 7.9 billion dollars (+3% excluding currency effects).

With full-year adjusted EPS that is up 62% at 1.56 dollar, Hewlett Packard Enterprise's management expects this in range of 1.51 dollar to 1.61 dollar in FY 2018-19.
