HP Enterprise: beats consensus in Q3.

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday night Hewlett Packard Enterprise announced adjusted EPS that was down 23% at 31 cents for its third fiscal quarter, while the consensus was expecting five cents less.

The IT Services group - which was born from the sale by Hewlett Packard in 2015 - also exceeded the consensus in terms of its income, which was up 3% at 8.2 billion dollars, while its adjusted operating margin slipped 1.5 point to 8.4%.

HPE has reduced its target EPS range for the fiscal year, now expecting between 1.36 dollar and 1.40 dollar against 1.46 dollar to 1.56 dollar previously, although this reduction is mainly due to M&A in the software market, broker Aurel BGC said.
