Hasbro: net loss in Q2
(CercleFinance.com) - Hasbro has reported a Q2 2020 loss of 33.
9 million dollars, or 25 cents per share.
Adjusted for extraordinary items, such as costs relating to the acquisition of eOne, EPs actually reached two cents.
At 860.3 million dollars, sales were down 29% pro forma, with demand for its products having been hit by temporary store closures and product shortages for strong growth categories.
"While the full-year COVID-19 impact geographically remains unpredictable, as stores reopen and we begin to return to production for entertainment we expect the environment to improve in the third quarter," said the game maker's boss, Brian Goldner.
