Harley-Davidson: Q3 above expectations.

(CercleFinance.com) - Harley-Davidson's Q3 accounts, which were released on Tuesday before Wall Street opened, included EPS of 40 cents per share, down 24 cents from last year.


The consensus was slighlty more pessimistic, expecting EPS to fall to 39 cents.

Revenues also fell by less than expected from 1.09 billion dollars to 962.1 million dollars, compared with the consensus of 951.8 million dollars. The group suffered from a 6.9% y-o-y decline in the sales of motorcycles to 64,209 units.

Harley-Davidson expects to deliver between 241,000 and 246,000 motorcycles for the current fiscal year.
