HP Inc: inches up EPS target range
(CercleFinance.com) - Benefiting from a better-than-expected third quarter, on Thursday evening HP Inc.
slightly raised its adjusted EPS target range for FY 2018 to between 2 dollars and 2.03 dollars (vs. 1.97 dollar to 2.02 dollars previously).
The company, which combines the hardware business of the former Hewlett-Packard, reported adjusted net income that is up 14% at 0.8 billion dollars for the past quarter, meaning EPS of 52 cents, which is one cent above the consensus.
However, the group's adjusted operating margin deteriorated by 0.4 point to 7.3% for revenue that was up 12% at 14.6 billion dollars (+9% at constant exchange rates), with similar growth for PCs and printers.
