Goldman Sachs: expands banking services to the EU
(CercleFinance.com) - Today Goldman Sachs announced that it is expanding Transaction Banking (TxB) to the European Union.
The expansion will enable Goldman Sachs to deepen its relations with existing clients with banking needs in the EU, while serving new clients on the continent.
Starting with a new location in Frankfurt, along with plans to expand to Amsterdam, TxB will serve clients' cash needs, including deposits and payments in over 160 countries and more than 120 currencies.
TxB's global, cloud-based platform provides clients with visibility into their accounts, payments and liquidity positions across currencies and countries.
To date, TxB has attracted more than 400 customers, accepted more than 65 billion dollars in deposits and processed trillions of dollars through its systems.
