Goldman Sachs: EU clears acquisition of MDVIP
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has cleared the acquisition of joint control of MDVIP, by Charlesbank Capital Partners and Goldman Sachs, all US based.
MDVIP operates a network of physicians in the US who provide membership-based primary care services, with a focus on personalised medicine, preventive and patient-focused care.
The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not raise competition concerns given its limited impact on the market.
After closing down over 1.5% on Thursday, the Goldman Sachs share is down a tad (-0.15%) in pre-market trading today.
