General Motors: eBay CEO to join board
(CercleFinance.com) - eBay CEO Devin Wenig is to take a seat on General Motors' board of directors to bring his expertise in technology, the US carmaker said late on Thursday.
GM shareholders will vote on the appointment of Wenig at the group's general meeting on 12 June it said.
Wenig, 51, was appointed chief executive officer of eBay in July 2015 after joining the company in 2011 to oversee the online auctioner's marketplace business.
Before joining eBay, Wenig had been chief executive officer for Thomson Reuters Markets.
