GE: wins E6bn of contracts in Netherlands
(CercleFinance.com) - GE Renewable Energy has announced that its Grid Solutions division has won three high voltage direct current (HVDC) contracts worth a total of approximately E6bn as part of a specially formed consortium with Sembcorp Marine for the 2GW TenneT program in the Netherlands.
The contracts were awarded under a 5-year framework cooperation agreement with the possibility of a 3-year extension.
In addition, TenneT and a consortium formed by GE and McDermott have entered into an agreement on the basis of which TenneT expects to award two further HVDC contracts in Germany for a total of approximately E4bn to this consortium in April 2023.
