GE: development agreement with Svante
(CercleFinance.com) - GE has announced that GE Gas Power, part of GE Vernova, and Svante have signed a joint development agreement (JDA) to develop and evaluate a solid sorbent-based carbon capture technology for natural gas power generation applications.
In addition, GE says that it has taken an equity stake in Svante as part of Svante's $318m Series E capital increase in December 2022.
The climate crisis and our world require immediate and sustained action and investment in critical technologies such as carbon capture, it said.
