GE: to upgrade Tallawarra power station
(CercleFinance.com) - GE has announced a new order for its first high efficiency (HE) upgrade for the GT26 fleet to be selected in Australia.
In 2024, GE will upgrade EnergyAustralia's Tallawarra A power station, powered by a GT26 gas turbine with the HE upgrade. This solution aims to provide the plant with a quantum leap in efficiency and performance.
Tallawarra A will benefit from increased efficiency and reduced carbon emissions per MWh, in line with its aims to accelerate the transition to clean energy, it said.
