GE: EU clears acquisition of nine windfarm projects in Spain
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission, Europe's competition watchdog, approved on Thursday the acquisition of joint control of nine windfarm projects in Aragon, Spain, by US industrial giant GE and the French venture capital fund Mirova-Eurofideme 3.
The deal - which was examined under a simplified procedure - does not raise any competition concerns, the EU said.
Mirova-Eurofideme 3 is currently owned by Banque Populaire Caisse d'épargne (BPCE).
