Ford: to launch over 50 new vehicles in China by 2025.
(CercleFinance.com) - Ford is planning to launch more than 50 new vehicles in China by 2025, mostly focusing on SUVs, electric and connected cars.
The US carmaker - which outlined the next phase of its China expansion strategy today in Shanghai - said it plans to introduce eight all-new SUVs and at least 15 electrified vehicles.
The group said it would locally assemble five more vehicles for Chinese customers starting in 2019, including a Lincoln premium SUV and the company's first global all-electric small SUV.
All these new vehicles will be connected to the Internet.
