Ford: issues two safety recalls in North America
(CercleFinance.com) - Ford is issuing two safety recalls in North America, after it identified that certain airbag modules may have obsolete parts.
The Michigan-based carmaker said late on Thursday that the recall concerns several models, including certain Ford Ranger, Ford Mustang, and Ford Fusion vehicles that were made between 2004 and 2009.
Ford said it is not aware of any reports of accidents or injuries relating to this issue.
The company also said that it will recall 1,666 of its new Bronco SUVs that were produced last year as their rear suspension may not be correctly secured to the subframe, increasing the risk of accident.
