Ford: expects to halve China loss this year
(CercleFinance.com) - Ford expects to approximately halve its China operating loss in 2019, the US carmaker said at a meeting today with analysts and investors.
In 2020, the company expects to approximately halve its 2019 China EBIT loss, and anticipates that its results will improve further in 2021, it added.
Ford said that it has not previously issued such guidance for China, and that its comments should not be construed as guidance.
Ford's practice is to not update guidance intra-quarter, it pointed out. The auto giant plans to report full-year results on 4 February 2020.
