Ford: names new heads for auto and mobility units
(CercleFinance.com) - Ford said that it has appointed Joe Hinrichs as president of its automotive unit, effective as of 1 May, to strengthen its automotive operations and help deliver an EBIT margin of at least 8%.
Hinrichs will have responsibility for Ford's global business units - North America, South America, Europe, China - and all its international markets, the carmaker said.
In the reshuffle, Jim Farley has been appointed president of new businesses, technology and strategy, in particular overseeing the smart mobility and autonomous vehicles businesses.
Marcy Klevorn has decided to retire from the company in October after being appointed leader of Ford Mobility in June 2017.
