Ford: China vehicle sales dropped in 2018
(CercleFinance.com) - Ford's sales in China fell 37% in 2018, to 752,243 units, the US carmaker said on Friday.
The Dearborn, Michigan-based company said that the drop was primarily due to the end of its refresh cycle, excess stocks resulting in large discounting and declining dealer profitability.
After this "challenging" year, Ford aims to transform its business in China, with over 10 new products set to be launched in 2019.
