Ford: connectivity agreement with Avis Budget
(CercleFinance.com) - Over 35,000 Ford vehicles in the Avis Budget Group fleet are expected to be digitally connected by summer 2019, the companies said on Tuesday.
This means that customers renting Ford vehicles from Avis Budget's US fleet will be able to manage their rentals through a mobile app, from choosing the type of vehicle they want to returning their car through an automated process.
Ford and Avis Budget plan to connect over 10,000 vehicles by the end of the year.
