Ford: US sales up 0.7% in May

(CercleFinance.com) - Ford sold 242,824 vehicles last month in the US, up 0.
7% y-o-y, with the 3.5% growth in retail sales offsetting a 4.6% decline in fleet sales.

In particular, the car maker reported 11.3% growth in deliveries of its F Series in May, their 13th consecutive month of growth and their best performance for this time of year since 2000.

“New Lincoln Navigator flew off dealer lots in May... with an increasing number of customers coming from Mercedes and Land Rover,” said Mark LaNeve, Ford vice president, US Marketing, Sales and Service.
