Ford: European market share exceeds 8% in March
(CercleFinance.com) - Ford ranks as the second most popular automotive brand in Europe, with a market share of 8.
5% in March, down 0.7 points year-on-year in the 20 traditional European markets.
The car maker from Dearborn (Michigan) sold about 175,500 vehicles in Europe last month, down 12.4%, including 132,500 passenger cars (-15.4%) and 43,100 commercial vehicles (-1.6%).
The American giant said that in future, we expect its share of the passenger car market to exceed its level of a year ago, thanks to increased deliveries of the new Fiesta, EcoSport and Focus.
