(CercleFinance.com) - Ford Motor has signed a "letter of intent" to explore a strategic collaboration with Chinese ecommerce giant Alibaba in cloud computing and digital marketing, the US carmaker said on Thursday.
Under the three-year agreement, the companies will jointly explore areas of cooperation to re-shapine the automotive industry in China and expand mobility services.
Ford plans to cooperate with Alibaba's four business units in several areas, such as connectivity and artificial intelligence.
