ExxonMobil: Q4 beats consensus
(CercleFinance.com) - ExxonMobil has published net profit that is down 5% at 5.
69 billion dollars for Q4 2019, i.e. 1.33 dollar per share, while the consensus was only expecting around 47 cents.
The energy group nevertheless specifies that its profit includes extraordinary items of 3.9 billion dollars, or 92 cents per share, including a gain of 3.7 billion dollars on the sale of upstream activities in Norway.
At its upstream division (exploration and production), ExxonMobil announced stable production at four million barrels of oil equivalent per day, up 4% for liquids, offsetting a 5%drop for gas.
