ExxonMobil: signs two research agreements in India
(CercleFinance.com) - ExxonMobil announced on Monday that it has signed agreements with the Indian Institute of Technology sites in Mumbai and Madras, extending its portfolio of research collaboration with Indian universities.
These five-year agreements will focus on research in areas such as biofuels, climate and low-emission technologies for the electrical and industrial sectors.
The energy giant has research partnerships with over 80 universities, five energy centers and a number of private sector partners. It has spent more than 10 billion dollars since 2002 on low-emission energy solutions.
