ExxonMobil: distinguished for its exploration business
(CercleFinance.com) - ExxonMobil has announced that it has been named "Explorer of the Year 2017" by the World Oil and Gas Council, in recognition of excellence and innovation in the global energy sector.
The US oil major points out that it has been involved year in numerous discoveries over the year, along with acquisitions and other activities in different countries, including Brazil, Cyprus, Equatorial Guinea, Guyana, Mauritania, Papua New Guinea and Suriname.
In particular, ExxonMobil highlights its exploration activity off Guyana, where it announced four discoveries in 2017 in Payara, Liza Deep, Snoek and Turbot, after the discovery of Liza in 2015.
