DuPont: Better-than-expected second quarter.
(CercleFinance.com) - Published this Tuesday before Wall Street opening, the second-quarter accounts for DuPont have notably revealed earnings per share (EPS) of 97 cents, a fall of 19 cents year-on-year.
Net of one-offs, EPS is set at 1.38 dollars, representing an increase of 14 cents as compared with the same period last year. Above all, analysts were less confident, predicting an average of 1.29 dollars.
On its part revenue has gone from 7.06 billion dollars to 7.42 billion, compared with the 7.295 billion anticipated by consensus.
