(CercleFinance.com) - DowDuPont has appointed a new chief executive for its agriculture business as it prepares to split into three different units, the chemicals giant said on Monday.

James Collins, who is currently chief operating officer of the agriculture unit, will be chief executive officer of Corteva Agriscience after the separation, which is set to occur by 1 June 2019.

Marc Doyle, who is currently chief operating officer of the specialty products division, will be chief executive officer of the specialty products division, to be renamed DuPont.

Ed Breen, DowDuPont's chief executive officer, will become DuPont's executive chairman following the separation.

The group is separating its materials science, specialty products and agriculture businesses into three divisions. The new structure is due to be in place by the end of October 2018.
