DowDuPont: files with SEC on separation of businesses
(CercleFinance.com) - US chemicals giant DowDuPont said that it has filed with US regulators providing details of the businesses that it plans to separate into.
The company yesterday filed a Form 8-K statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for its agriculture, materials science and specialty products businesses.
DowDuPont said that it intends to pursue, subject to the receipt of approval by the board of directors, the deal in "one or more tax-efficient transactions."
From the third quarter of 2018, DowDuPont will make certain changes to its reportable segments in preparation for the intended separations, it said.
