DowDuPont: beats consensus in Q4
(CercleFinance.com) - DowDuPont - the chemicals group born from the merger between Dow Chemical and DuPont last year - posted Q4 2017 adjusted EPS that is up 41% at 83 cents, 16 cents above the consensus.
Operating EBITDA increased by 24% to 3.9 billion dollars, on sales that are up 13% at 20.1 billion dollars, with gains across all operating segments and geographic regions.
Furthermore, DowDuPont says that it expects to split from its materials science business by the end of Q1 2019, followed by its agriculture and specialty products business by around 1 June 2019.
