5-fold increase in operating EPS to 2.75 dollars for Q3 2021, with its operating EBIT margin improving 11.7% to 19.5% on revenue that is up 53% at 14.8 billion dollars.
The chemical company said that its revenue growth mainly reflected a 50% jump in local prices, against a backdrop of tight supply and demand dynamics in key value chains, while its volumes increased by just 2%.
Management said that it is still seeing robust end-market demand that is expected to continue into 2022, coupled with short-term logistics constraints and low inventory levels in its value chains.
