Coty: makes loss in Q4 2019-20
(CercleFinance.com) - Coty has reported a Q4 2019-20 adjusted net loss of 46 cents per share, compared to adjusted EPS of 3 cents a year ago, with an adjusted operating loss of 335.

The cosmetics group sales reached 560.4 million dollars, down 62.8% in absolute terms (-59.7% on a comparable basis), largely reflecting the impact of the Covid-19 health crisis.
Coty posted a full-year adjusted net loss of 48 cents per share, with revenues down 25% to 4.72 billion dollars (-20.3% on a comparable basis). It expects to return to an adjusted operating profit over the current quarter.
The share is down over 3.5% in pre-market trading on Thursday.
