Costco: September sales up 16.9%
(CercleFinance.com) - Warehouse retailer Costco Wholesale on Wednesday unveiled revenues of 16.
84 billion dollars for September (covering the five weeks up to 5 October), up 16.9% year-on-year.
On a comparable basis, sales were up 15.5% (+16.9% adjusted for foreign exchange impact and fuel prices), with a 90.3% hike in online sales. Costco estimates a positive impact of slightly less than 100 bps.
