3% rise in August sales at stores that have been open for at least one year, helped by its activites in Canada.
Total net sales for the Issaquah, Washington-based company rose 10% to 9.8 billion dollars this month.
Excluding the impact of gasoline prices and foreign exchange, comparable August same-store sales would have risen by 5.9%, the company said.
