(CercleFinance.com) - Constellation Brands has said it will buy the Florida-based Funky Buddha Brewery as the wine and spirits maker looks to srengthen its position in the high-end beer segment.
Funky Buddha, which is the fastest growing craft brewery in Florida, operates a microbrewery and pub near to Fort Lauderdale.
The brand was founded in 2010 in Boca Raton, by husband and wife Ryan and Giani Sentz.
The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
