ConocoPhillips: 38% dividend hike
(CercleFinance.com) - ConocoPhillips today announces a 38% increase in its quarterly dividend per share, to 42 cents, representing an annualized amount of approximately 500 million dollars.
It will be paid on 2 December to shareholders on record as at close of business on 17 October.
"This increase in our ordinary dividend reflects the significant transformation our company has undergone over the past few years," said Ryan Lance, chairman and chief executive officer.
In addition, the group announces its intention to buy back three billion dollars of its own shares in 2020 and reinstates its desire to return over 30% of its cash from operations to its shareholders through dividends and share buybacks.
