Comcast: SkyShowtime to be launched on 20 September
(CercleFinance.com) - The new SkyShowtime streaming service will officially launch on 20 September 2022, bringing its premium entertainment offering to millions of homes in Europe.
SkyShowtime, a joint venture between Comcast, parent company of NBCUniversal and Sky, and Paramount Global, will be launched in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden on 20 September, before expanding to the Netherlands in Q4.
SkyShowtime will continue to roll out in Spain, Portugal, Andorra and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) over the coming months, through to Q1 2023.
The service will be available directly via the SkyShowtime app on Apple iOS, tvOS and Android devices, and via the website, www.skyshowtime.com.
Seemingly unaffected by this news, Comcast shares actually closed down 3% yesterday.
