Comcast: Q3 above expectations
(CercleFinance.com) - Comcast has reported Q3 adjusted EPS that is up 27.
5% at 65 cents, beating the consensus by four cents, with adjusted EBITDA up 2.5% at 7.3 billion dollars.
At 22.1 billion dollars, the media group's revenues increased by 5%, its historical cable business reporting growth of 3.4%, while its subsidiary NBCUniversal posted 8.1% growth.
Brian Roberts, Comcast's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said, "Comcast Cable's EBITDA growth was the fastest in six years," who also pointed to the strong performance at NBCUniversal, where its TV businesses continued their strong performance.
